Procedure details
At a glance
Autologous fat transfer can selectively restore facial volume and may support tissue quality. Fat naturally contains stromal cells, but the procedure should be understood as fat grafting; claims of “stem-cell therapy” should not be confused with guaranteed outcomes.
What we discuss in consultation
- anatomy, symmetry and skin quality
- incision placement and limits of correction
- alternatives and preservation of expression
Your treatment plan
Consultation includes examination, medical photography and discussion of your goal. Technique, anaesthesia and any combined procedures are chosen only after a complete assessment.
Recovery and outcome
Temporary swelling, bruising, tightness or altered sensation may occur. Return to activities and maturation of the result are gradual and depend on the extent of surgery.
