Procedure details
At a glance
Calf implants can increase projection and balance the lower-leg contour in selected aesthetic or reconstructive situations. Implant size, position and relationship to the muscle are assessed for symmetry and function.
What we discuss in consultation
- the difference between excess fat and loose skin
- stable weight, general health and clotting risk
- scar position, compression and contouring limits
Your treatment plan
Areas are assessed together for coherent proportions. Tests, anaesthesia, safe procedure extent and any staging are defined before scheduling.
Recovery and outcome
Swelling, bruising and tightness are common initially. Compression, mobilisation and return to exercise follow an individual protocol while contour refines gradually.
